1. Acceptance of these terms
By using invoicebilling.app (the "Website"), you agree to these Terms of Use. The Website is operated by InvoiceBilling ("we", "us", "our").
If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.
2. The service
The Website is a free invoice, estimate and GST invoice generator. You can create documents and download them as PDFs.
Without an account, your drafts are stored in your browser and PDFs are made in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.
We may add, change, or remove features at any time.
3. Accounts
Accounts are optional and are coming soon. You can sign in with Google or an email magic link.
If you have an account:
- Give us correct information.
- Keep your sign-in access safe.
- You are responsible for activity on your account.
- Tell us right away if you think someone else has used it.
You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live, and at least 13 years old.
4. Free and Pro plans
The free plan lets you create invoices and estimates without paying.
Pro is a paid plan, billed monthly or yearly. Features and prices are shown on the Website at the time you buy. We may change plans and prices for the future. Changes do not affect a period you have already paid for.
5. Your content
You own your data. This includes your invoices, estimates, clients, items, business profile, and logo.
You give us permission to store and process it only as needed to run the service for you.
You are responsible for:
- The accuracy of every invoice and estimate you create.
- Having the right to use any logo or content you add.
- Following the tax, invoicing, and other laws that apply to you.
6. No tax or legal advice
The Website is a tool. It does not give tax, accounting, or legal advice.
Tax rates, totals, and templates (including GST formats) are provided for convenience. Always check them. Ask a qualified professional if you are unsure.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Break any law, or create false, fraudulent, or misleading invoices.
- Use the Website to harm, harass, or deceive others.
- Upload harmful code or content you have no right to share.
- Try to break, probe, or overload the Website or its security.
- Scrape, copy, or resell the Website without permission.
- Use automated tools to abuse the free service.
8. Subscriptions and billing
Pro subscriptions are sold through Dodo Payments, which acts as Merchant of Record. Dodo Payments processes your payment and handles sales tax and VAT. We never see your full card number.
- Subscriptions renew automatically each month or year until you cancel.
- You authorize Dodo Payments to charge your payment method each period.
- Taxes may be added at checkout depending on your location.
- If a payment fails, we may limit Pro access until it is fixed.
Refunds are covered in our Refund Policy.
9. Cancellation
You can cancel at any time using the customer portal link in Settings.
- Your Pro access continues until the end of the period you paid for.
- It will not renew after that.
- Cancelling does not by itself refund past payments.
Purchases made in our iOS or Android apps are managed through Apple or Google, not through the Website.
10. Intellectual property
The Website, its design, code, templates, and branding belong to us or our licensors. These terms give you only a limited, personal, non-exclusive right to use the Website.
You may use the PDFs you create for your own business. You may not copy or resell our templates or software as your own product.
11. Disclaimers
The Website is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that it will always be available, error free, or suitable for your needs.
We do not guarantee that any document you create meets the legal or tax rules of your country.
Because drafts without an account live only in your browser, they can be lost if you clear your browser data. Please download your PDFs and keep your own backups.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. This includes lost profits, lost data, or lost business.
Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or 50 USD if you paid nothing.
Nothing here limits rights that cannot be limited by law.
13. Termination
You can stop using the Website at any time. You can delete your account in Settings, under Delete account, or ask us to do it by emailing support@invoicebilling.app. Deleting your account cancels any active subscription right away; the current period is not refunded.
We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or misuse the Website. If we end a paid account without cause, we will refund the unused part of the current period.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows the latest version. If you keep using the Website after a change, you accept the new terms.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the operator's country of residence. Disputes will be handled by the courts there, unless the law where you live gives you other rights.
16. General
- If a part of these terms is found invalid, the rest still applies.
- These terms are the full agreement between you and us about the Website.
- If we do not enforce a right, we have not given it up.
